        $yr=$now.Year.ToString()
        $mo=$now.Month.ToString()
        $dy=$now.Day.ToString()
        $hr=$now.Hour.ToString()
        $mi=$now.Minute.ToString()
        write-output $yr$mo$dy$hr$mi

You can use timestamp with any script to create random files.
